When she was born Supremacy was everything we dreamed of tall, elegant and powerful and she has matured into one of the most spectacular mares I have seen. She is the first filly we have kept as a future competition prospect and broodmare. She has more than earned her place at the stud, being awarded the prestigious Foal Premium by the Oldenburg Verband & receiving the Elite award by the BEF.

In summer 2011 we sent her to Germany for backing, Mare Grading and Performance testing. We are thrilled she was awarded a Verband Premium!

Summer 2011 - Supremacy Shines in Germany!

In February this year I made the tough decision to send Supremacy to Germany for Mare Grading and Performance testing, as we believed her to be Premium quality and it is not possible to receive Premium status in the UK for Oldenburg mares. I am delighted to announce that when she presented to the Oldenburg Verband they liked her so much that she was selected to go forward to the Performance test for Premium mares. We are so thrilled that a British bred mare has been judged in the top 5% of mares in the studbook.

I went to watch her at her Performance test and she received excellent scores for her paces - all 8's and she loose jumped superbly! Whilst her ridden test was not fault free she still received excellent scores for her paces under saddle from the German judges. We are absolutely over the moon that she will be awarded a Verband Premium. Talking to the head judge afterwards he said if she had been more settled in her ridden work, she would have received the State Premium award and if I wanted I could present her again next year when she has had more time under saddle. What an achievement!

However the real icing on the cake for me is that whilst she was in Germany, she was approved to breed to the World Champion Fürst Heinrich (my favourite all time stallion and sire of Woodlander's fabulous mare Farouche!) and as she is now in foal to him, so hopefully she will be rather busy next year having her foal!

I am so proud to have this wonderful young homebred Premium mare representing the Stud, she is quite spectacular in every way and she has a very special place in my heart!

20th October 2008 Diaz is awarded a Foal Premium by the Oldenburg Verband who praised her exceptional movement and cadenced way of going. Well done Diaz!

August 2008

Diaz receives the prestigious BEF Elite Award - one of only four foals in the country to do so. She scores a massive 9.16 in total and receives all 9.5s & 9s for all categories, including Conformation, Type & Temperament, Athleticism and Paces. She qualifies for the Championship Show! She was the highest scoring Dressage horse of the day - beating all the older horses!

In 2008 Carl Hester named her dam St.Pr.St. Show Hit the 2008 Reserve Champion Dressage Broodmare at the BEF Elite Championship Show.

Sire -De Niro
In 2008 De Niro was named the Hanoverian Stallion of the year on the basis of his exceptional quality of his offspring and his influence on breeding. De Niro is a legendary sire due to his outstanding movement, extremely high 'rideability' and beautiful type. De Niro was Reserve Champion Performance Test scoring 9s in all three gaits and was awarded the highest scores for 'rideability' (9,67).

At 7 De Niro was already succeeding at Grand Prix. In 2001 he was Dressage Champion at the German Championships. In 2002 he was the winner of the international Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special and in 2003 he was the winner of the German Dressage Derby in Hamburg. De Niro's sire, Donnerhall, held the highest dressage breeding value index of all stallions. De Niro's dam was a successful dressage competitor producing an approved stallion in Westfalia. His dam's sire, Akzent II, is regarded as one of the best sires for producing 'rideability' in modern sport horse breeding, and has produced many approved stallions and expensive auction horses.

De Niro has already produced more than 60 approved sons. His foals are consistently of an elegant, modern type, showing excellent conformation as well as outstanding movement. His first foal crop got an overall mark of 9 by the Oldenburg commission, and based on the exceptional quality of his foals De Niro received the "Hauptpraemiensieger" (Main Premium Champion) award in 1997. His offspring are extremely popular all over the world, consistently reaching top prices at auctions.

Dam St.Pr.St Show Hit
St.Pr.St Show Hit is one of only 100 mares worldwide to be approved to be bred to the Dressage sensation Moorlands Totilas! She is expecting a foal by Totilas in May 2011. She was purchased at the 2005 Brightwells auction and is a truly sensational mare. She comes from three generations of State Premium mares. She is by the World Champion stallion Show Star who is one of Sandro Hit’s most successful young sons.  Show Hit was awarded her State Premium title at the prestigious Elite mare show in Münster-Handorf where she competed against 80 mares selected from throughout Germany. She was awarded outstanding marks for her conformation, movement and type.

In 2008 Carl Hester named Show Hit the 2008 Reserve Champion Dressage Broodmare at the BEF Elite Championship Show. Her 2008,2009 and 2010 foals by De Niro foal have all been awarded the coveted Oldenburg Foal Premium. Her first foal Larkshill Riaza was graded with a Verband Premium with the Westfalian verband.

Her sire Show Star is a Premium Stallion, he became vice Champion riding horse at the Oldenburg State Championships in Rastede as a 3 year old. He went on to be the Champion at the German Federal Bundeschampionate as a 3 year old & Vice Champion as a 4 year old. Show Star is still a young Stallion and is currently competing at PSG. Sandro Hit of course needs no introduction - he is already writing sporting and breeding history!
